Who I Am (When No One's Watching)

I’m not the softest voice in the room. I’m the one who’s lived too much, loved too hard, carried too many people, and learned how to make beauty of breakdowns. At my core, I am not just a mother, a partner, or a provider. I’m the blueprint and the back up plan. The one people call when they’re lost in the weeds, because somehow, I always find a way through mine.

I’m built for heavy lifting, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. But don’t confuse that with endless strength. I get tired. I cry in silence. I pour from a cup that barely refills. And still, I lead. Still, I build. Still, I mother the world, even when I’m trying to remember how to mother myself.

I crave freedom. Not just financial, but emotional. I want space to breathe without explaining, to rest without guilt, to show up messy and still be worthy. I don't want perfect. I want peace. And I’m willing to tear down every version of myself that was built to survive but never learned how to live.

So no, I’m not palatable. I’m here to be real.

And that version of me? She’s sacred.
